Tank parts?
Hello everyone ,
I found these pieces of tank or armored vehicle in the Ardennes.
the area where they were found is a fairly small area, speaking with the locals they told me that in that area there were at least 5 German tanks and a couple of US Shermans.
all German tanks were destroyed.
I would like to know if it is possible to identify what vehicle it was. of course I tried to find the answer myself, but I couldn't.
Maybe there is someone here on the forum who is able to do it?
Perhaps the most recognizable part is the one that for me is a piece of wheel.
On the wheel there is a kind of bent reinforcement/spoke that comes out.
I haven't found anything that looks like it on the various tank photos I've looked at, other than maybe a panzer 2 rear wheel, but I'm not sure.
