    Although the text is unusual, the plate looks good to me.

    Not ever seen an original written in this format. The vehicle occupants would get stopped by kettenhunds and arrested. None regulation kennmarke.

    Agree with Blackcat, very unusual to see the WH not seperate.
    A "loose" sort of script also. It is a 6 number so late wartime but maybe a field repaint?

    Hello guys, thanks for your replies. Barn find in La Rochelle sector, for sure late wartime, it's hand painted.

    Here is one I own. The top layer of paint fades, hence white letters. The black lettering fades but protects the with layer below.ww2 german license plate

    Number indicates early war, if it was painted correctly.
