    Not sure where to put this, but I hope you could help me!
    I am using the only picture I have got so far.
    I jut bought this item during a auction and will have it later this week.
    But meanwhile all ready did some research...
    Am I wright to state this clock could date from between 1910 and 1914...?
    According to this site; it should...
    Serial Numbers
    And would it be possible to get to know on witch ship it served?

    Strange this post didn't gave much answers over here...
    On a general antique forum I was told the clock might have been used on a submarine (because of the 24 h.dial ) and that the serial number is printed on the back.
    The number on the front is a US navy inventory number.
    Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!

    Got to know the clock must have been made in the early 1945.
    Here is the list of all submarines made during 1945, just need to find out now on which it served....

    My parents had a Chelsea "Mariners" mantle clock. Strictly civilian but not very much different. I was my job as a kid to wind it up ever few days.
