I'm guessing this Tiger is a 1944 era one, as the early Tigers had no need for track links suspended on the turret sides. Tiger 131 at Bovington has no such brackets, but the one at Vimoutiers does.

Hi,there were 3 production models of Tiger 1,early,mid, and late, this is a late model, one of the biggest differences of the late model was in the road wheels, there was less of them and they used the same type as the King Tiger.....Pete.
