Stephan,Is this a war time made badge?It shows alot of wear and has nice patina.

Hi Emil,
It was made 1960's like many of the A.K. commemorative badges.
The patina is I think part of the manufacturing process when badge was made.

You wouldn't be asking this question because of the badge currently on sale on ebay, would you?

Here's what appears to be a genuine example that sold several years ago. It actually compares quite favourably to the one on ebay - which has received some active bidding.

Tony, as a matter of fact that one on e-Bay is looking very promising. I wish I could put my hands on it I compared it with all may resources and I just needed something like you have to make sure it is an authentic one. Your badge of 15 PP is an excellent, silver made item

Happy to help. But as stated, that is not my badge. It was sold on Allegro several years ago.

One small observation: the numerals "15" in the badge now up on ebay differ. Otherwise, they are just about identical.

Hey Tony and Jaxmon,
So is it a fake??The thing about Polish badges is that sometimes theres more then 1 maker and they both have a slight difference,so sometimes I think original items are sometimes fakes!
