What do you think about this badge 27 Lancers? Is it original?
In my opinion 27 Lancers Regiment badge is a copy.
The other one can be either not complete regimental badge, or fantasy one
Hi guys, any idea on what this badge is? I know its not the official regiments badge but maybe it was for some sort of event/competition? I'm not sure if the spinner belongs to the badge, but the firm exists today.
Edit: I found the same badge on the Allegro archives from 2008. No help identifying it but in the description it says its numbered and has a pin fastening instead of a thread and spinner.
Hello I need yours opinon about this auction. Is this badges oryginal? Please help.

Polish Badge 6 Regiment Ulanow Kaniowskich - Stanislawow graver Jan Knedler | eBay
Emil, I'm not exactly certain but would lean towards it being a commemorative badge of some sort, perhaps connected to some sort of event or competition. I have seen this badge pop up before, never with much of a description as to its significance. Sorry I can’t offer anything more.
Regards,
Tony

Let’s stack it up against what is purported to be a real Knedler (more pictures at bottom). You can see numerous differences, such as in the crown and center disc. Perhaps there were differences in Knedler versions produced over the years - ? - or maybe this isn't even a Knedler, but rather the product of another pre-war maker withan incorrect spinner - ? All things to consider.
The badge for sale is also different than the ones I have pictured in my limited references containing information about the EM versions of this regiment’s badge.
For what it’s worth I’ll add that my experience with the badges (and most other alleged pre-WW2 militaria) located in Poland and listed on ebay are by and large not genuine. Most frequently they are deceptive looking old copies. My gut feel tells me this is one of those old copies. The genuine items that are put on the internet auction market in Poland usually find their way onto Allegro, which is frequented by the discerning serious collectors. Ebay seems to be the ‘clearing house’ where the rejected wares are dangled out for the unsuspecting buyers outside Poland.

Well said Tony. Pre-WWII badges are selling in Poland for better $$$ then in North Americe or anywhere else in the world.
Thank you very much for your opinion.
Hi Tony, I'm thinking the same thing. I managed to locate an old listing on allegro archives saying it was made post-war for members of the regiment, perhaps for some sort of reunion?
I also think the 6 Pulk Ulanow badge is fake. Like Tony said many old copies that are better made than recent Panasiuk or other products are being sold as originals, some times they are aged and numbered to try to deceive those interested in the badge to think its pre-war. Many other badges and daggers sold by this seller were questionable to say the least.
