Help identifying Polish medals

I would greatly appreciate any information on this man’s decorations and uniform (i.e. rank), Polish militaria is mostly unknown to me. Thanks!

Haha, yes at second glance this is a woman. I’m asking for a friend and must admit I didn’t look too closely before posting. I’ve figured out that she’s a lieutenant as well

Many thanks for your post, Podporucznik (2nd Lieutenant) Zofia Nowosielska is wearing the Cross of Valour, later awarded the Silver Cross of Merit has shown in the photograph below taken in the USA in 1930.
