Hello Everyone,

On behalf of a friend whose relative died in the Battle of Mokra in September 1939 I would like to ask you if you have the opportunity to check in which unit he served?

From November 4, 1935 to September 22, 1937 he served in the 10th Lithuanian Uhlans Regiment in Białystok. Then He went to the reserve. In September he was mobilized but it is not known to which unit. He probably fell at Wilkowiecko near Mokra.

As he was a Ułan I assume that he could have been part of one of the following units that took part in the Battle of Mokra:

- 12 Pułk Ułanów Podolskich,
- 21 Pułk Ułanów Nadwiślańskich,
- 19 Pułk Ułanów Wołyńskich,
- 2 Pułk Strzelców Konnych,
- 2 Dywizjon Artylerii Konnej.

I have checked his name in the book "Ułani Podolscy" in the soldier's list 1917-1945 but without any luck.
If you have the opportunity to check the list of soldiers from these units in the literature I will be most grateful.
