Polonia Restituta Cross with case Fake or original?

Hello,
I found such a cross at an auction
the seller wrote that the ribbon is of the 1st class cross, the cross itself is 3rd class
Can you write to me whether the cross is original?

You are quite correct in that it is a Commanders Cross with award case, it look fine, with a replacement ribbon.

because the tail is pointed and the eagle's beak is longer

The following information might help you also :

Grand Cross is 68mm x 68mm

Commanders Cross is 58mm x 58mm

Officers Cross is 53mm x 53mm

Knights Cross is 42mm x 42mm

The Star of Star of the Grand Cross and the Commander with Star is 74mm in diameter.

Many thanks for your post the photographs are taken from different angles, so it is hard t say if the 2nd Eagle has an eye or not.

Also the Dies might have been replaced over time, so it would depend on the artist designing the Dies interpretation.
