Default Wyższa Szkoła Wojenna (Higher Military Academy) Nagalski silver version

Recently managed to buy the Nagalski Siver Higher Military Academy (Warsaw) badge. I wonder if fellows can advise on how many of these badges were issued. These are quite rare badges and I was lucky to spot this at the Noonan's auction site (former DNW) in London. I never seen one listed on any of the auction sites before. Presumably these badges would have been given to senior officers who completed the advanced officer course ?

    Hello delimata,

Congratulations on your acquisition not bad for a presale estimate of between £100-£140.00p, when the Hammer went down at £4,000.00p, these do on occasion appear in the UK and Europe in Auctions, the last one that I viewed was engraved with the name of the officer on the reverse of the badge.

They would have been given to officers that completed the Staff Officers College Course.

    Best wishes

    Andrzej
