Monte Cassino Cross Reverse Numbered : 48267 obv and rev.

When awarded the Recipients details were as follows :

Rank : Porucznik

Surname : Żukowski

Christian Name : Henryk

Date of Birth : 1st February 1900

Fathers Name : Józef

Army Number : 1900-81-III

Unit : Command Station Number 1

Prior to WW2 he had served in the 5PPLeg has a Ppor. Reservist by 1934, living in Wilno and was promoted to Podporucznik on the 1st July 1925 and was 1203rd in Seniority at that time in 1934.

The Cross was awarded to sierżant Wacław Adamski, Army Number: 1913-54-III, Unit: 6 Kompania Warsztatowa (6th Workshop Company)



After the end of the war he came back to Poland.

Unfortunately he is the only Agiej listed as being a Recipient of the Monte Cassino Cross.

Surname : Szymoński

Christian Name : Felix

Date of Birth : 18th May 1906

Army Number : 1906-421-III

Unit : 3KPAPL

Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 1853

In 1932 he was serving in the 1PAC as a Ppor. 98th in seniority from the 15th August 1931, after the end of the war he settled down to civilian life at 11 Willcott Road, London and died on the 12th September 1963 and buried on the 21st September 1963 in Acton Cemetery in Ealing.

His profession was given in the London Gazette has Book-keeper.
