Kapral Jan Modzelewski, Born 24th June 1913, Army Number : 1913-195-III, Unit : 13BS, Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 15865.
Jan Modzelewski's awards.
Jan Modzelewski grave he died on the 16th April 1999 (aged 85), his Mother in Law, died 7 months later and is buried with him, just awaiting his wife.

He survived the war and came to the UK with his Regiment by then promoted to Kapral, he married Elizabeth J Richardson in Tyne and Wear in 1978 and Władysław died in 1984 in Tyne and Wear.
