By the end of the war in Europe he had been promoted to St. Ulan (Lance Corporal) and he came to the UK with his Regiment and after being demobbed settled down to civilian life in a foreign country.

Tadeusz Wichliński died on the 14th October 1993 in Lambeth and was cremated on the 25th October 1993.

After the end of the war he came with his Battalion to the UK and after being demobbed he settled down to civilian life in a foreign country, in 1967 he applied for and was granted British Citizenship, London Gazette, Dated : 30th April 1968, page : 4913.

At the time he was living at 39 Periwinkle Lane in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

Dymitr Sopowski died on the 24th December 2011, aged 90.

By the end of the war in Europe he had been awarded both the Cross of Valour and the Bronze Cross of Merit with Swords.

He then came to the UK with his Regiment and after being demobbed from the Polish Resettlement Corps settled down to civilian life in a foreign country, in 1951 he married Jadwiga Wanda Kacprowska in Islington, London.

In 1964 he was granted British Citizenship the announcement was made in the London Gazette issue number : 43315, page number : 3908, Dated : 5th May 1964.

Józef Marian Staręga died in 1972, his death was listed as being registered in Waltham Forest, Essex.
