Dear Andrzej, could I ask you to check the 3135 medal entry?

The 3DSK list has a soldier called -

    BURDZAK Wojciech, 1917/36, strz., 6. bn., KWx2

but there is no entry for BURDZIAK 1900/107 at all.

So the surname spelling and tag number are different - but both are Wojciech and Strz. and 6. bn and KWx2 - which seems to be too much of a coincidence to be anything other than a match.

    Regards,

    Ted

    Hi Ted

With regard to the 3DSK list, it looks very good but was taken from the old Stankiewicz genealogy website which was well known for it's mistakes.

    MCC 3135 is BURDZIAK Wojciech, 1917/ 36/III.

I am sure Andrzej will put sort out the problem.

    Regards Kevin

    Hi Kevin,

yes, I'm fully aware of all the errors caused by them using OCR to take details from the book. And there were errors in the book as well.

    Regards,

    Ted
