Yes, we had a cracking weekend here, following a massive wind storm that hit yesterday afternoon. Trees down all around, like the one below which crushed two cars, and power knocked out all day. Very unusual for August.
Anyway, both crosses appears genuine, although I'd like a a straight on shot of the MC1. MC2 has a clean bill of health. You're correct, the ribbon on this one is a replacement.
