    AVM Ujejski after awarding the Virtuti Militari and Cross of Valour to Sierz. Bronisław Godlewski, he was also awarded both the D.F.M. and A.F.M. along with the American D.F.C. and Purple Heart. The action also took a toll on him he lost both arms when his Wellington was attacked by a german night fighter on a bombing raid over germany.
