Waddington Airshow 2014

Article about: These were taken 6th July. There is no show next year as the runway is being lengthened. Battle of Britain memorial flight was flanked by two Spitfires instead of a Hurricane.

    Hi Dave, I think I went to this Air show some 20 years ago, I still have some pics somewhere. I remember 2 things about that day. 1st was the noise when the pilot hits the afterburner on that Vulcan it was deathening . 2nd was a new plane an F16, it was grounded by Earth spikes everywhere. Every American pilot there claimed he was the pilot. Was a good day too.

    Wow that low landing was awesome, kudos to the guy taking pictures, he didnt even flinch while everyone else was kissing the dirt lol.

    Some great photos here Dave.. I'm loving the B-17..looks great coming into land!!. I live just down road from Waddington but good old work gets in the way again..Damn that mortgage!! lol. Cheers Terry.
