    Good Morning Colleagues,

Your expert opinion on this visor would be appreciated. Obtained from my German Wife's elderly relatives, I wonder if it could be a Forestry officer's visor. All comments genuinely welcome.
    Kind regards,

I think that's a customs zollbeamte style cap eagle....can't speak to authenticity though

I see some customs color in the chincord but the color of the visor seems off and all of the others that I have seen have green piping....but once again, I'm no expert

You are more expert than many!

I don't know what this cap was made for but IMO it is not an authentic Reichsfinanzverwaltungs- ("Zoll") cap but some post war product. Don't know whether the insignia are good, I am certainly no expert for these.

I would agree. Probably had a plastic sweatshield at one point and I don't like the sweatband either.

Definitely a West German visor, with TR Customs insignia added after the fact.
