EM/NCO chinstrap question

I am thinking about buying this chinstrap but I'm not sure it's original. I've researched here and on WAF and all my books with no results.My only concern is the dark color of the reverse,I've checked all of my visors and there all light tan and as far as I can see their light tan on all the visors I've seen on the websites. All opinions welcome and thank you.

I know these also only with the tan reverse. The Hempe manual just states:

"... made of black lacquered full calf leather..." without any hints which colour the reverse is.
