handzar division fez real or fake?

I've purchased this fez and I want to know if it's a real one or fake. The inisignia is missing but the stiching shows where the skull and the eagle have been. Thank you in advance.

Pigtail and tassel are missing but otherwise this is an original Dachau SS fez.

My own for reference.



A lot of these fez's have been stripped of their insignia so scammy dealers could beef up other SS pieces and get more money. Yours is a good example of this.

I'm glad that the fez is an autentic one. Since the condition of it is good, I will try to get somewhere a pig tail and a tassle. But I doubt that I will be able to get an authentic one.

I doubt you will able to find these also. Never seen these for sale seperate. I would enjoy it the way it is.
