Guys -- postwar luftwaffe, postwar police or real?
I dont like the 'softish' sweat diamond but from seller's poor pics looks ok -- also dont fakes / postwar typically have bullion insignia and sweat diamonds with no name? I was thinking for his own reasons (cost, maybe) this officer chose simple e.m. Types.

The important pictures are missing: back of the bill/visor, interior shots also with the (rests of) the sweatband turned up if possible so that one can see how the lining is stitched in and what was used against forehead pressure, how does the piping join etc.
There shouldn't be metal insignia on an officer's cap. Grey interiors are rare (but did exist). So without more and more detailed photos I can't tell for sure.
Looks postwar anyway.
