I disagree, I believe the visor itself to be period but the piping redied.
oh and btw Sensei its definitely a visor I wish was in my collection!
Still doubtfull for me. I coloured some pipings myself on fakes (to get Zoll, forestry, admin, ...) and it looks similar after one layer of paint.
Hope I'm wrong.
... and another Polizei one:
it does look to be SIGNALS PIPING.
post war visors aren't even close to WW2 visors, and the interior is totally different. a dead give away!
