Medical officer Schirmmütze

Hello guys,

I've came across this medical officer schirmmütze and i would like to know your opinion about it.
Is it a genuine piece?

Judging from these pictures the cap itself looks period. The bill + the sweatband were reapplied (handsewn stitches), the colour of the piping looks peculiar (at least in these pictures) - you'd have to check whether it is really medical blue or another blue e.g. for Transport or if the white piping of an infantery cap was tinted blue. The eagle seems peculiar, too - I do not think it is original to this cap (whether it is a period piece I can't say, as I don't know a thing about insignia).
