Need opinions on this Fire Police Visor Cap...

Sorry I could only get this one photo from the owner. He's an older gentleman and has to have his son take the photos, who is unfortunately not around right now.

What can anyone tell me about this based on the front view (based on the piping and overall colors) and do you think its a good one?

Also, I'm not sure of the value of these since I can't seem to find many for sale online to compare to (that look like this one anyway). What is a cap like this worth roughly?

To me, it looks good, not my area of expertise though. as for price, we will wait and see. there are many great people here that can give you a possible price for this.

East German (DDR) cap with TR insignia added after the fact.
insignia might be original (wreath/cockade is for postal, the eagle is the 1934 insignia for police and fire).
