I am no specialist for shakos either, but can tell you this: Pose was a known firm. Black shakos existed in the Weimar era (for that this one looks too new) as well as post war. This is not an officer's shako let alone a general's, so the gold-colored eagle should not be there. Hopefully one of the specialists will comment on the shako itself.
