    Not sure what the exact question is? I will say that, yes....it's a real visor.

    Are you asking if it is a period WW2 German military visor? If so, It's not.

    It is a post war Austrian Bundsheer visor. Maker is Marie Lsama & Sohn. It does not in any way resemble a WW2 visor. Look at just a few items. You can easily see where the cockade was (since removed). Sweatshield is plastic. Etc. Etc.

    From what I can see, they are still in business . Search the forum using the key word Slama for some good info

    Thank you MAP, absolutely correct - yes, they are still in business, they are the only Austrian cap factory left (to my knowledge).
    The cap seems to be the officer's version with the velvet centerband - and the cockade had been placed too high on it.
