I won't list all the flaws in this tag, as it is a disservice to do so to collectors, but Mr. Arran is quite correct in his assessment.

I think that listing the flaws merely improves the fakes, I am sorry to say.
The fakes are far better today than they were in the year 2000, not the least because we have made it thus.
I focus on a very, very restricted field, of course, and you can protest all you want that such an attitude is elitist, or somehow at the expense of collectors.
My dealer in Vienna explains to me how the fakers come to on the lam for lessons in authenticity and such, and how is loath to enable their larceny.

This is a good lesson on why we do not "spoon-feed" the flaws with the fakes.
As you can tell, the fakers regularly read these forums in order to improve their craft.
