Slick or Shady???

Hello All!
I hope you are all having a wonderful Holiday Season! I was just notified by a fellow collector that a friend may be moving a few pieces of headgear from his collection I was hoping to get some feedback and opinions from the "Big Boys" on whether there are any "Red Flags" or suspicious characters in the pics. If I get lucky I may be able to convince my Wife I need a piece for my Christmas, Birthday, Anniversary, present Any comments, suggestions, concerns would be Greatly appreciated!

Now to begin studying The Visor Threads!!!

I don't think anybody can give a valid opinion on this cap from these pictures. I would need the "under the hood shots" from under the sweatband i. e. how is the lining fastened? How does the area where the bill is sewn on look like? How do the ends of the piping join? Are there any extra holes in the cap band stiffener where the insignia are? The first one looks like an ErEl cap, the second one doesn't seem to have any markings. Things that are so pricey should be studied very thoroughly. Perhaps you could take more detailed pictures in better lighting. Also the insignia specialists will need well focused ones.

Totally agree with ErWeSa regarding under the hood shots . Also, around the center band, the white piping seems to be a little uneven. Hard to tell if from lighting or whether the velvet was added on and not carefully stitched down, making seams uneven.
