I think this the one that appears in the Wilson book of SS Headgear as a example of an EREL made one in page 31.

It's a beautiful piece but there are somethings that makes me think that It could be a fake or a Frankenstein.

Unfortunately, it is a repro from top to bottom (not even a Frankenstein).

I would think, why if behind the eagle is so black en perfect in shape and the rest looks so good........ already a hint for "Fake"
