Ss field-grey uniform fez?

What are your thoughts on this SS Fez?

* The fez has no tassel
* The outline of the insignia remains
* The thread passed the burn test ( if that means anything)
* I have no experience with these things

IMHO nothing really good here.
I don't like the wool too much fuzzy and the leather of the sweat band

In my opinion also not good.

There is no trace of the little tassel "piglet". The wool is too rough and the sweat band - although made in different materials - does not look good.
Even the stitching of the insignia on the inside looks too rough to be authentic.

These look like fedoras that were cut off (as far as I know fezes didn't have dented tops). Is this one or are these more hats? There seems to be one high and one low one. The way the sweatband was sewn in doesn't fit either.

Exactly! Thi thing is not even round but has the shape of a fedora.
