SS Kepi

I Know the SA and SS used them......My Question ....where these caps produced and used " Prior" to political use and who wore them ?
Were they used non politically as everyday wear or were they " Created Exclusively " for the SA and SS.

As far as I know, caps of this type and shape have never been worn in Germany before. This typical form of the SA cap, which was later also used by the SS, was worn very early on, i.e. shortly after the SA was founded. However, often with a black, white and red cockade, the typical party eagle only appeared later.
