    Default Strange Gun Show Cap?

    Saw a strange hat from the local gun show. I have never seen this animal before.. It has what appears to be rabbit fur on the inside but no tags or stamps. The Bevo looks a lot newer than the hat so I'm wondering was this an authorized variation of headgear or bits of a possible original variant cobbled together? It also has tie strings?? To hold the ear flaps up or tie under the chin.
    Any thoughts or comments welcome.

    These existed, what is strange are the Heer insignia - Heer fur caps were different, LW mostly had these, see here:

    Is this fur cap anything seen before, or front made, or fantasy item?
