visor cap?

as this is my first post I hope I put this in the right forum.

I bought this cap from eBay a few years back for about $10 and haven't been able to identify it since I'd love to know what exactly it is.
I'm fairly certain its third Reich as it has a very faint swastika ink stamp (similar to those on letters?) of some sort on the sweatband.

Sorry that is not any type of TR cap I have ever seen. A very odd looking soft bill cap that looks homemade. Trying to resemble some sort of Merchant Marine or ersatz navy cap ? Just my opinion.

I am with Al - could have been some sort of Donald-Duck-cap to which somebody added this queer bill/visor. Can't remember ever having seen a D.D.cap with red piping though. The rest of the lining seems to be missing, too.

I think you guys might be right in thinking the bill is homemade and a later addition because the stitching for the bill is very crude looking (compared to the rest of the cap) and is on a bit of an angle.
