I have got my hands on what I think is a genuine SS Crusher Style Cap.

I have, in my earlier posts on the forum, just slapped a few pictures on
and asked if the object was fake or real.

I now research items as much as possible before posting things and then hope for
learned members to prove me correct-or shoot me down in flames.

The fabric, how it is sewn together (side panels), the sweatband, the shape, the sloppy workmanship and the stamp "Bachmanns Witwe" (see here: https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/attac...k-img_1165.jpg) make it quite clear.

Looks like the piping is supposed to be KZ--the rarest of all SS pipings (I have only seen one which I consider original).
