Waffen SS General Officers Cap ?

I am looking for opinions on this cap I have a chance to acquire....it is being described as a Waffen SS General Officers cap. SS items are not something i normally collect due to all the fakes , repro's etc. The cap is very worn on the inside, silver piping period looking skull and eagle (800 Silver Mark) ....but what throws me is the RZM stamp under the visor. This mark I thought was only stamped on Allgemine SS caps? This was shown to a militaria dealer at a show and they claimed there were some early Waffen SS caps marked that way. Just need the forums thoughts on this cap and any input would be appreciated.

Fabric, colour, weave, piping, stamp on the reverse of the peak...
