Waffen-SS NCO Visor cap – genuine or not?

Hello gentlemen.

I’ve been offered to buy this, supposed, Waffen-SS NCO Visor cap. The seller is not a known dealer, at least not to me. The cap seems to be in relatively good condition. I’ve compared it to the many others published here but I just don’t have the confidence in my own knowledge when it comes to both the cap, eagle and skull.

Would you be so kind and give your opinions; could anything be said about the maker and above all: is it genuine or not?

The body ot the cap looks period to me. Unfortunately I can't answer the essential question whether this was what it is sold for.
Without any imprints on the sweatshield/stamp on the sweatband nobody will be able to identify a maker as the cap lacks distinctive features of the "big" firms - ErEl/Peküro/CW which would allow such an attribution.
The TK is off-center (and a made of a different material than the eagle).
I would like to see inside shots of the cap with the sweatband turned up - are there any extra-holes in the cardboard-stiffener of the centerband visible?, how is the lining attached, etc. etc.
Perhaps the experts for this kind of caps can tell you on first sight.

Apparently the insignia was bought separately from the cap, and later applied on the cap by the seller. But additional pictures of the inside will be posted soon...

I got some additional pictures of the interior of the cap from the seller. Perhaps this will make it easier to authenticate.

Good that you've got these. At least the sweatband + visor has been reapplied (see the crude stitches and empty holes on the visor). The specialists could tell you more. Meanwhile I don't like the entire look of it, there may be original parts, but IMHO this seems to be a "Frankenstein"

The TK also looks like it may be well weathered "Fake Moustache" type. the eagle looks a bit funky but hard to tell without straight on clear photo's.
