WSS Cavalry Off visor at H. Weitze
Dear collecting colleagues,
This WSS cap has been listed for quite a while in H.Weitze's catalogue and I'm interested in acquiring it. I'm also aware of the discussion about these non-white piped caps. I would like to ask for your experienced input and analysis. Thank you.

with far more nos than yesses. I believe to have seen this cap (apart from Weitzes page) somewhere here, I think it was in the Questionable Visor Hats Reference Thread (only accessible for paying members), which would be a bad sign. Looking forward to read the specialists' opinion.
The lining diamond is crooked, which would be a red flag for tampering.
Being on such a controversial type of cap it would probably put many people off.
Worn interior with near mint exterior is also questionable.
Just some observations.
The WSS colored pipe are a dream today....Just one dream....
