Just picked this one up, an early 57er EK1 by S & L, from examples I've seen all seems okay (I think). It is a 3 piece construction, with the core being magnetic, hardware seems correct (albeit catch damaged), only thing thats 'foxed' me is the silver finish to the frame, it appears to be 'silver plating' , metal content of frame, underneath plating, is an alloy of sorts which looks silvery or coppery depending how you catch the light, if you look carefully there are a couple of places where it has flaked, is this a good trait ? Never noticed any plating on any of my wartime EKs.
Weight is 16-17 gramms
Width is 44.2 mm
Height is between 43.8 mm - 44.1 mm
