US M-3 knives in very good to excellent condition fetch a few hundred dollars
and more depending on the maker, but in this poor/worn condition it is not
worth much, IMO. Can you make out any markings on the
    blade or crossguard ?

If it is blade marked it could possibly be worth $50-$100. A competent
knife maker may be able to restore the leather washer grip, but he
would really have to know what he is doing. Most all makers
    have several specific features.........
    Regards,

My PX M3 is made by Imperial and has USMC engraved so it probably was purchased by a marine it is not marked on the pommel and has a different grip this is how you can tell that it is px. It is cut down unfortunately -Ben

I aquired these items from the family of a veteran.
If these items were truly acquired from the family of a vet, I would contact them and request to return all items for a full refund. Even though the M3 is real, the other items, big ticket items if they were authentic, mind you, were falsely represented as the real deal with a bogus story. There is a slim chance that the vet, if there was one, served with the 506th PIR, and picked these up as replacements depicting items he originally used for display purposes, however I find that hard to believe.

While you may not have spent a whole lot of money on them, on principal alone, I would want my money back.

As for the other helmet, I believe it is a Czech M53. *Correction - looking at the liner, I may be incorrect in saying this is an M53

The other helmet I believe is a Polish Wz-50. Seems like the closest match...

    Polish Army Wz-50 Steel Helmet
