Okay so here are the pictures with the stuff separated.
Liner ?
M-1 with Airborne chin strap ?
This name was written inside "Cassidy". That's kinda cool I think.
The two together
And the cover

yeah the liner is an early issue one you can tell this from the "A" washers that hold the strapping/webbing in later versions change to "O" style ones that can be unclipped from the liner for easy maintenance, but how you sell it is up to you, you can sell it as a whole for quick sale or in 3 separate parts the choice is yours
This helmet is a M1 of late manufacture. The chinstrap is the last one that was issued and replaced the earlier ones. The press studs on the chin strap do not indicate use by parachutists. The M1C has press studs in the liner rim to fix the steel shell to the liner.
The helmet has not been put together from different parts. The cover is indeed a cover intended for the PASGT kevlar "Fritz"helmet and not for this M1.
The liner is a 70's version as far as I know. The nape strap is missing though.
Nice helmet, but there are a lot around.
Cheers,
Emile
