Article about: A friend came over last night and brought this M1 with him, is there any way to tell who the owner is, or what unit he was in. Thanks

    Greetings all,

    Here is his Obituary from The News and Observer Nov 28, 1992 (North Carolina). Appears he served (at one point) in a Stateside Weather Squadron.

    Great information, thank you all that helped to shed light on this helmet. I love to research helmets and bring history to life and watching this helmet come to life has been a joy to watch.
