    This thread is great! Both information and pics. Especially if you (like me) is no helmet master, but what about Vietnam era liners? Makers? Markings, stamps, position of said marks/ stamps and so on. I would love to hear from people who know these liners better. So please, what do I need to know to buy a genuine Nam era liner! Thanks for great threads

    Could anyone identify the era, decade and maker of this M1 liner? Inside on a mark with a cross making four segments with "US", "125", "W" , "11". Thanks in advance.

    What's the code no.s on the sweat band there Mate? Looks like it's original to the liner - Match

    I put the sweat band on myself 20 years ago, so that won't help date it. But for the record it is a 1977 made one.

    It's one I'm short on, but I'd guess it's pre '72

    This one is a Pattern 1964 Liner with A-washers. Made between 1964 and 1972.
