    Not US helmet, but European clone helmet. From the shape of the helmet to marker stamp to chinstraps, it seems European,
    imo

    Nice looking shell. Looks very new. Does it say vdn 00/2 on the rim? That’s a new one, year 2000, not seen that before.

    1972 dated Belgian.

    I don’t think it says 72, as in 1972. All the vdn rim stamps i have seen is in the style xx/x or x/xx, like 87/1 or 1/87. I think is says 00/2, as in year 2000, lot 1
    0072 seems like a weird vdn stamp?

    Its a belgian Mle. 1951.

    ABL = Armée Belge Leger

    VDN = Vereinigte Deutsche Nickel-Werke AG 1966 or 88 ??, Lot-Nr. 2
