    Really nice set. Pot made in December 1943 / January 1944. Grab it without hesitation.

    Great looking fixed loop helmet and with a MSG insignia liner and green buckle chinstrap, What’s not to love about this set.
    As for the sweatband installed backwards, that’s one’s choice and many reasons for doing it but it’s not common to see this configuration but it’s correct/okay to see it.

    I recently posted a Hawley that has the sweatband installed the same way. Up to the soldier to make themselves comfortable.
