early Cap Badge ?

hello...just picked up this cap badge in a group of things....wondering if it is legit and is it an early piece? it is of two-piece construction with the eagle soldered to the wreath at three points...thanks in advance for you time and input...

It looks like a nice first pattern eagle. typical construction and nice silver finish. Here is mine for comparison. On mine the swastika does not touch the wreath though. maybe a different manufacturer ?
