What bothers me is why is the chain not rusted.
Had good advice? Saved money? Why not become a Gold Club Member, just hit the green "Join WRF Club" tab at the top of the page and help support the forum!
Thanks Ade, I'm unsure of this, the guy selling it acquired it from his father with some British medals, looking at the back that too looks pretty good could it have been stored with the chain tucked in hence degradation of the face itself. Steve
I’ve placed a magnet on the chain and it’s non-magnetic, the gorget plate is magnetic. Not sure if this information helps?
I dont collect these ...but from stdying other examples...the eagle on your example is sitting very high away from the Banner title. I never seen one sit this high before.
