SchuPo Oberst insignia

I've found these boards and tabs which represent an Oberst of the SchutzPolizei.

The only thing that I wonder about is the size of the gold pips on the boards. I know there were many makers of these, and that design will vary slightly.

Is there a difference between wartime pips and postwar types that can be easily found?
