Yeah, I see. The services I mostly use don't give time estimates and the estimates I have occasionally seen on foreign tracking sites have always been completely incorrect I personally feel a lot better when the company doesn't take blind guesses.

I totally understand where you are coming from Rusty. My second helmet which left the US way back on the 26th August, and then supposedly left a transfer station in Hong Kong on the 2nd September, suddenly appeared on the radar last night when it was processed though a facility in Australia! To be honest, I really don’t know what’s going on but understand your concerns. I’m sure you item will arrive too!

My helmet is now in Chicago!
Finally today my helmet arrived. 11 weeks in total and according to the seller who has been collecting for 56 years, a new record!! I’ll try to post it on the weekend if the light is good.
Where it went in the 6 or so weeks between it departing Hong Kong and arriving in Australia, I have now idea as tracking stopped until it passed though customs down here.
Thanks guys for following this thread and for the words of support. I do appreciate it. Looking forward to seeing your new lid Rusty.

My helmet is now at the local post office! I'm friggin'excited!
The U.S.P.S "lost" a package of mine for 8 days. Another 2 were sent to the wrong post office. Another was 3 days late. Rich A. in Pa.

I’ve been using UPS lately. Shipping is more expensive, but I haven’t had anything get “lost” and it usually arrives at my house in a few days.
Never seen that one before either, what did you buy?!
