Silly special moment with a bird

I thought it was injured after sitting on my hot tub cover for 30 minutes. I went outside to approach and she climbed into my hand. I fed here some crumbs and after 15 minutes she would not leave my hand. She flew away when I was moving her off my hand. Kind strange but interesting. My wife could not believe what she just took pics of. I am not sure I can either.

Wow. Awesome !!!! What a special moment John. Assuming that is a female Cardinal? My wife loves her birds and makes sure I always have the bird feeder filled up LoL.

We did have a odd ball of a bird show up last week. A Coopers Hawk. Every now and then we have a red tail Hawk, but this was a first

John has she come back? Cardinals and Cat birds are very friendly and she might have felt a sense of security
