I am about to purchase this Assmann SS insignia from a dealer. As far as I am concerned, they look good. But I would like to hear your experienced opinions about this before I buy them.

I am about to purchase this Assmann SS insignia from a dealer. As far as I am concerned, they look good. But I would like to hear your experienced opinions about this before I buy them.
The TK looks good to me. I can't comment on the eagle, but i am sure someone will be along shortly. These are often riddled with zinc pest. And have lower value then the RZM marked skulls.

This type of Assmann & Sohne SS TK was one of my first skull's that i bought after looking at them more here on the forum. The details on these things insignia are amazing. Aldo got me hooked after seeing his collection. Now you need a RZM and maker marked set to go with it to have early and late war next to each other

I am afraid I am indeed. Would love to build up a collection of eagle and skull sets. Hard to find, but than again I am not yet that old to. So enough time for me to find them.by Aldo
Question: bending the pins of the skull a little for display is probably a risk? How is the connection of these pins to the skull?
